Happy, Healthy and Just in a few Minutes

Self-care can mean different things to different people, but at its foundation, it involves taking care of yourself physically, intellectually, and emotionally. It's critical for maintaining your entire mental wellness. Self-care implies taking care of yourself in a world where you're supposed to always be productive and hustling. Self-care is similar to how aeroplane safety instructs you to put on your oxygen mask first. It's not about being selfish; it's about following the directions for a better and happy you. As winter approaches and the frigid mornings and evenings become more prevalent, many of you are altering your regular routine. We want something to make us feel comfortable and cosy, thus we're seeking comfort and warmth. Burnout, sadness, anxiety, resentment, and other bad feelings can result from being too busy for self-care. A daily self-care habit, on the other hand, can help with:


Sleeping better Improved concentration Enhanced self-assurance Anxiety and stress levels are lower Enhanced resiliency Building stronger bonds and for me it's the most important one.


Take time out of your hectic day to build a self-care ritual. Rituals are meaningful behaviours with a profound sense of purpose. It doesn't have to be extensive or complicated; it simply has to be unique to you. Here are some ideas to help you create your own ceremony - try adding the ones that speak to you.



Establish a relaxing night-time habit

I believe that the evening is the ideal time for some pampering. It's a fantastic way to unwind and de-stress after a long day. Using a soothing bath milk before bed, burning a calming soy candle (my favourite one is Ocean Road made by our Australian Caronlab) and using a soothing mask with just one pump of Vit C for maximum relaxation are some ways to build a calming night-time ritual. Using essential oils is another way to create ultimate level of comfort. I'm quite fond of doTerra oils.



Drinking and eating is an excellent thing for your soul and body

Try discovering your new favourite turmeric latte or healthy tea that just provides such an accelerating feeling within you and before you know it its just a thing that you must have every evening!


Express gratitude

Take a few minutes out of your day to meditate and practise appreciation. Write down 10 things you're grateful for, whether it's first thing in the morning or late at night. It's an excellent way to develop a more positive outlook on life for yourself and others surrounding you.

The importance of a daily skincare routine cannot be overstated. It aids in the development of resilience and routine while also providing a moment of quiet and gorgeous skin.
